L’Heureux Lewis is a young scholar with a fresh take on issues facing
African-Americans and the African Diaspora. With specializations in race
and ethnic relations, he concentrates his research and activism in areas
such as education, youth culture, public policy, and mental health.
Dr. Lewis is currently an Assistant
Professor of Sociology and Black Studies at The City College of New
York - CUNY. His commentary has been featured in media outlets
such as US World News Report, Diversity in Higher Education, National
Public Radio, theRoot.com and the Detroit Free Press.
